In this age of cell phone snapshots and CDs with images lost in your drawer, I take a more personal approach to creating artwork for your family. I want to make something special that takes an honored place on your wall and showcases the love, laughter and bond your family shares and something that you will see and enjoy every day.

Why
Some of the most important photographs in my life can't be recreated. They show my history, they capture my family though the years and I cherish them. It's my goal to create artwork that you are excited to put on your walls and enjoy now but also to create such quality that one day a child can say "grandma was that really you?"

Your experience begins with a personal consultation
We will spend some time on the phone (and through email if you wish) talking about the unique personalities and dynamics in your family. I love to hear about your goals for the session and, if you've thought about it, what your plans for the images are.

After learning a little about you we have a wardrobe consultation. I firmly believe that matching white shirts and blue jeans say nothing about a family and make for trite photos. Dressing in a way that reflects who you are and creates a timeless photo is important.

We will also talk about preparing your kids and dogs to get the most from your session. You can get a lot of interest and cooperation with simple things like letting your children choose from three pre-approved outfits rather than their whole closet. We will also talk about treats and toys that motivate both kids and dogs.

Your session
Your session will be 30 or 60 minutes for Lite and Signature sessions. Both happen in my downtown Denver studio. Deluxe sessions are 60-75 minutes and can happen anywhere outdoors. Newborn sessions often run 2 hours after factoring in feeding, diaper changes and wardrobe changes.

We work hard to provide you with an easy and fluid experience. One of my favorite regular comments is that "we never thought we'd get so many good images to choose from."

Selecting your images
Approximately a week after your session we will schedule an ordering appointment for you. Order appointments are done in studio and they offer you a chance to sit back and select your images from a larger than life projection. Seeing your images this way lets you evaluate all of the details and it gives us the chance to make collages, trios and other customizations right there while you watch.

Your order session will typically last 90 minutes but it is a no-pressure appointment and may run longer. The appointment usually exceeds the tolerance of children and you are encouraged to seek a sitter during your appointment.  We do not offer take home proofs or online galleries. We guarantee that you'll love your images or you don't have to make any purchases. If you choose to place an order, you must do so during your order session, so please be sure that all decision makers can make the appointment.

The finished product
All of our artwork is produced to museum standards using archival materials so that you may be sure that your images look great for a lifetime. We guarantee the quality of our work. In general we take 4-5 weeks to produce everything, sometimes longer during holidays and for unique orders. We accept all major credit cards, checks and cash.

Please be sure to review our important policies about cancellations, payments and more.
