Hello little baby!
This morning we had the opportunity to meet this handsome little guy (and his parents) in our Denver studio for his very first photo shoot. Newborn sessions are so special to us because these are the pictures that families will use for birth announcements, they're some of the first pictures that will be sent to friends and family, and they will be among a family's favorite pictures to look back on as their babies grow.
We know that the first couple of weeks with your new baby will be exhausting and they will pass by so quickly. It may seem too daunting to come in for a newborn photo shoot, but your baby will never be this small again. We hear over and over again from families who skipped the newborn session say that they regret not having those pictures.
To make it easier for yourself after your baby is first born, pick a photographer ahead of time. We are happy to take flexible bookings for newborn sessions since babies like to arrive on their own schedule. Think about what kind of pictures you'd like to have with your baby (just the baby, the whole family with the baby, your dogs with the baby, etc.). And set a reminder on your phone to call your photographer soon after your baby is born to confirm the day of your appointment.
Happy 4th Birthday! TBT
This little muchkin just turned 4!!! It was so fun to have her family in the studio again and to meet her new little brother. Wishing you a very fun year as you start preschool!
Six month baby portraits
Many times our clients will be excited (and plan ahead) for their newborn photo shoot, but then forget to schedule additional sessions during the baby's first year. 6-8 months is a really fun age for the next photo shoot to document all the changes that have happened since their newborn pictures. Also, this age is really fun to work with and Mark can get a whole range of expressions out of babies that make stunning portraits.
Stop and smell the flowers! TBT
The blooming crab apple trees are one of my favorite things about spring! Thankfully, due to the especially nice weather we've experienced in Denver this spring, they've stuck around for a couple of weeks now. Even when I'm in a hurry, I can't help but stop and smell the blossoms. I hope you are enjoying them as much as we do here!
Two years ago this little Munchkin was first introduced to the crab apple flowers and she's been a big fan of them ever since! This year she's old enough to attempt jumping to reach them.
