They are here! After months of work and generous support from sponsor businesses, we have the perfect holiday gift for your animal lover friends. The 2018 MaxFund No-Kill Animal Shelter and Adoption Center calendars have just arrived. Calendars are $15 and 100% of the purchase price goes to help Denver area dogs and cats in need. This year, by popular request, the calendar features both cats and dogs from MaxFund. Some of these animals are still waiting to be adopted, so please contact the shelter if one of them catches your eye. Pick up your calendar at their Puttin' on the Max Gala on Oct 14th or at the shelter after that.
Happy Dog Day!
Happy Dog Day! Whether your fur kid is giant or tiny, they hold an equally special place in your heart. We like to think that every day is Dog Day, but today is a good reminder to give your favorite critter some extra loves. Take an extra walk, play extra fetch, go to the park or dog park. Spend some extra time with them. They don't know that today is any different from any other day, but they will be thrilled for the extra attention.
Our dogs play such an important part in our lives that it's only fitting that they should be photographed professionally so that you have a lasting portrait to remember them by. Many of our clients choose to purchase large portraits of their pets to hang with this family pictures in their home. Cell phone pictures don't do your dogs justice and can't be blown up to look like quality artwork for your home. Book your custom dog photo session today while you're thinking about it! You won't regret it!

See us in Modern Dog Magazine!
Have you seen the new issue of Modern Dog Magazine? If you haven't then you should pick up an issue and see the nice article by Mark! The article talks about ways to use your love for photography to help shelter pets get adopted. Several of shelter dogs that Mark has photographed over the years were also featured. A good picture for the shelter or rescue's website is sometimes the difference between a dog finding a forever home and either living in the shelter for years or being put to sleep because it was deemed not adoptable. If you have the time and interest, please consider donating your time at your local animal shelter!
10 Days Left!
There are only 10 days left before our 4th annual MaxFund photo fundraiser begins and there's still time to book your photography session to benefit animals in need. For a donation of $150 or $200 you get a 1 hour custom photography session for your family, dogs, or kids. 100% of the session donations go directly to MaxFund no kill animal shelter. Call Mark today at (303) 562-5536 to reserve your spot or click here for more information. Sessions are by appointment only and spaces are limited. Help us make this year's fundraiser a huge success for MaxFund! We hope to see you there!
Boots for Boots
Mark recently had the privilege of photographing Boots, a kitty with an incredible story for her young age. Boots was rescued from euthanasia at barely 2 weeks old when she was dropped of at a municipal shelter with both of her rear feet cut off. The municipal shelter wasn't able to care for her, so Life is Better Rescue stepped in. She was bottle fed until she was able to eat on her own and that was just the beginning of this little girl's long road to recovery. She has since learned to walk with "house slippers" and will eventually need surgery to clean up the ends of her legs to help with the permanent fitting of prosthetics.
Could you help us get Boots for Boots? Even just by sharing this campaign, you can make the difference for a single cat, and any number of other animals in need. Visit the Life is Better Rescue website for more information or to donate. Also, this week only, Boots is being featured on the FLOAT website where you can purchase a Boots for Boots t-shirt and $8 from each sale will go towards her recovery.
